In order to seek Stihl's future development, and making dealers deeply understand that Stihl has always adhere to high quality; 2015 Stihl dealer golden summit was held ceremoniously on Aug 21st in sea coastal city Qingdao which is famous for its extraordinary natural landscape. Under the leadership of Stihl Taicang General manager Mr. Zachary Wang, Stihl Qingdao factory ushered the first excellent chain saw dealer from north China area, a total of 39 people.
Stihl Qingdao is one of the six worldwide production bases of German Stihl group. As the host, the General manager Mr. Michels from Stihl power tools (Qingdao) co., LTD. gave a welcome speech to dealers, and reviewed the development history since 2006 factory foundation, which emphatically introduced the future development ideas and policy of Stihl Qingdao to make the dealers full of confidence; Followed by quality director Mr. Jeffery Xu, who introduced the quality system of Qingdao and made the dealers have great confidence for the product quality of Qingdao factory; Eventually R& D coordination manager Mr. Frank Scholten introduced our "people-oriented" products design concept and characteristics which allow the dealers become more proficient in sales of Stihl products in the future.
Then, under the lead of production operation director, Mr. David Qian, production assembly line manager Mr. Leon Liang, production assembly line supervisor Mr. Joe Tian and Mr. Eric Chen, dealers and Stihl Taicang colleagues were divided into four groups to visit the factory. They are introduced the phase I and phase II production assembly line, product audit and test area, the daily quality meeting and incoming inspection area in detail respectively. In the production line, they have a closer look at the whole assembly process of brush cutter, chain saw, and oil pump; the one piece flow in the process of production and the Poka yoke solution have left a very deep impression on them; Dealers also showed a great interest for product audit and test; Through the on spot investigation, the high standards production and scientific management system of Stihl Qingdao won the highly appreciation of dealers, they were deeply convinced by high quality of Stihl Qingdao products, also more firmly believe that Stihl Qingdao products adhere to international reputation for excellence quality.
After visiting the production line, dealers and Stihl Taicang colleagues enjoyed lunch on the second floor of cafeteria which was carefully prepared for them. They are heartfelt admired that Stihl Qingdao can not only produce high quality products, also can cook delicious food!
Q&A time was arranged after lunch; the powerful answering questions team was
led by general manager Mr. Michels, production operation director, quality director,
and R& D coordination manager .They answered all the questions that dealers cared about and gave a professional and comprehensive solutions to every problem, all the dealers at present are encouraged, they are full of confidence for Stihl.
Dealers and Stihl Taicang colleagues are very satisfied with this arrangement, from the subject, content to the related discussion, especially the Qingdao Stihl organization team, which got their consistent high praise.
